A second component to my practice philosophy is nutrition. The body has an amazing ability to heal itself when given the proper care including fresh water, rest, organic food, body work, exercise and proper nutritional supplements. It is
important to realize that everyone possesses a uniqueness called
biochemical individuality. What this means is that everyone's
internal biochemistry is different and thus what we put into our bodies
should also be different. Remember, just because you've heard
something is good for you doesn't mean you actually need it. The only true way to determine whether or not you need something is to discuss it with a health care professional knowledgeable in nutrition. |

If your body
is lacking important macro and micro nutrients and/or not digesting
and absorbing the foods you eat, over time it may cause physical
illness. It is important to get to the root of the imbalance in
your body. Identifying and treating the root problem will
significantly improve your overall health.

Some of the common problems that I see regularly for nutrition are:
-
Unhealthy Lifestyles and Eating Habits
-
Obesity and Body Composition
-
Weight Loss/Gain
-
Elevated Cholesterol/Triglycerides
-
Diabetes/Hypoglycemia
-
Stomach and Digestive Disorders
-
Fatigue
-
Chronic Infections/Candida albicans
-
Arthritic Conditions
-
Osteopenia/Osteoporosis
Once you've started on your nutritional therapy plan you will be seen
periodically until our goal is achieved. For those of my patients
traveling out of state, telephone consultations are available after the
initial office visit. |
